About our tuition

ON-LINE LESSONS AVAILABLE

Whether you are learning simply for fun or for a career in music, Kerikeri Guitar provides you with the opportunity to successfully learn the musical skills required for a lifetime of  musical pleasure.

Kerikeri Guitar was established in 2012 by Richard Christie to provide superior tuition in guitar for students in the Bay of Islands area.

Richard Christie is an Associate Member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers NZ (AIRMT) and has over two decades of full-time teaching experience, both privately and for the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

Kerikeri Guitar provides lessons to both children and adults.

Kerikeri Guitar offers  tuition in both acoustic and electric guitar and in broad range of musical styles. We recommend that most beginners undertake initial tuition on the nylon string guitar. Read the reasons for this recommendation here. Click here for our fees.
